Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Warsaw is all set to host the Third Annual Congress of the European Federation of Associations of Professional Congress Organizers, EFAPCO. The timing, from January 10  to 12, was chosen intentionally. Yes, it is the coldest part of the year in Poland, but  also a time of the warmest seasonal greetings, of giving, of carnivals and of joy.

The beginning of the New Year will encourage us all to initiate discussions about the future of the European meetings market, about developing new levels of co-operation between PCOs and our business partners and about enhancing our profession’s status.

The programme for the Warsaw Congress has been devised to help us examine, in detail, many of the crucial issues we all need to address, most notably: how to use the structures and legislation of the European Union in order to strengthen and expand the meetings market right across Europe. We also aim to spread the message to PCOs in all European countries: “EFAPCO is on your side. It represents your interests, whether you are a member, or not, and it is constantly searching for solutions to the problems we all have to tackle.”

Dear European PCOs
All of you will be welcomed cordially and with great enthusiasm. And we look forward to hot debates on many of the current issues and challenges facing Europe’s leading PCOs.
